RADIOWAVE SINGLE MODE DETECTION DEVICE
Goal
Radiowave single mode detection device "Zaslon-OP-40" is designed as an alarm system for open areas or in facilities for detecting intruder movement in the detection area (DA).
Method
Is based on Doppler effect with the change in frequency of the radio waves reflected from the moving object. The size of the moving object determines the intensity of the reflected wave that allows to ignore small animals. The device generates a “curtain” detection area and is recommended for roofs, walls, etc.

Advantages
Consistent sensitivity throughout the operational area, a signal occurs with human movement in the DA remains the same at both min and max distance. A small animal signal moving close to the device (at 3 m distance where DA touches the ground) will be significantly less than the signal of a human being moving in the area at a distance of 40 m from the detector that allows to exclude false positive with small animals when the device is properly adjusted.
«Curtain» and «flat square» mode.
«Curtain» vertical detection area is applies to protection of fences, walls, gates installation areas.
«Flat square» detection area is designed for human detection moving in DA in the direction perpendicular to the direction of radiation, and provides some great noise immunity to short duration signal.
The device is interference-resistant to:
- single small animals or birds movement in DA, the size of no more than a cat;
- truck movement parallel to the axis of the DA at a distance of more than 2 m from the axis («curtain» mode) with a DA max length;
- human movement parallel to the axis of the DA at a distance of more than 1 m from the axis («curtain» mode) with a DA max length.
- a truck movement perpendicular to the axis of DA at a distance exceeding the established range to 75%.
- lightning impulses with a peak value of the induced current up to 50 and up to 1ms;
- VHF range 433 1 Mh and cellular phone at a distance of more than 0.5 m from the receiver.
Automatic and remote control panels, sabotage protection by shielding radiation subjects in the "dead" area are available.
The device is secured against reverse polarity supply voltage due to personnel mishap.
Dust and splash –resistance design of the device body.
A side-by-side devices installation is allowed with 2m min distance between.
